New modern painting line at Polam-Rem
Polam-Rem's policy is to improve the quality of our products constantly. We want to produce the luminaires in more and more up-to- date and ecologic technology.
Polam-Rem is one of the leading producers of technical lighting fixtures on the market. Being aware of the quality demands of the market we started the modern painting line. It is based on the new technology of surface preparation - OXSILAN. This technology is also used by motor concerns like Opel, Krone GmbH, Audi, BMW, Citroen, Peugeot. The tests proved this technology qualitatively surpass the most common currently used process of Zn Ph, giving much better parameters of the course. This is also much more ecological - it does not use the heavy metals and is practically free from sludge. The by-products after being neutralized with whitewash do not influence the natural environment.
In the detail processing we apply double bath. Thus the surface is better prepared to be painted.
Due to the new technology the activation and passivation of the painting surface (element) is not needed. This helps to shorten the process time and makes it more efficient. The time needed to paint one element has shortened for about 25%-35%. Also the usage of energy and water has dropped down - energy for about >35% and water >70%.
All these reduce the total cost for about 30%. The better efficiency of the painting course improve all the production process and let the company offer the service of the powder painting. Thanks to the full automation of the painting process, part of the workers can focus on more labour-intensive tasks.
The maximum dimension of the painted detail is 1680 x 600 x 400 mm.
